• Clean and well-maintained interior — a damaged, dirty or bad-smelling cabin is unacceptable
• Free and clean trunk — enough space for passenger luggage
• Properly functioning air conditioning or climate control

Yandex Go car and driver requirements rise with each tariff in Tbilisi. The minimum driver rating is 4.5 for Economy, 4.8 for Comfort and Comfort+, and 4.85 for Business, which also needs a black or white car, a test, an interview and a studio photo.

Economy — The Most Accessible Tariff

Economy has the fewest Yandex Go car requirements and a 4.5 minimum driver rating. The minimum year depends on the model, typically 2010-2014 for popular ones, and the car needs a clean interior, working AC, a clear trunk and working seat belts.

The Economy tariff is the most popular and has the fewest requirements for the vehicle. The minimum driver rating must be 4.5.

The minimum year of manufacture for Economy depends on the specific make and model — Yandex Go evaluates each vehicle individually. For popular models (Toyota Prius, Hyundai Sonata, Kia Optima), the minimum year typically starts from 2010–2014, while premium brands (BMW, Mercedes, Audi) may be accepted with even older models.

Comfort — A Higher Standard

The Yandex Go Comfort tariff requires a 4.8 driver rating and a passed test in Yandex Pro. Cars are generally from about 2016 for popular models, with leather or faux leather preferred, dark floor mats, climate control at 20-22°C and no odors.

The Comfort tariff places higher demands on both the vehicle and the driver. The minimum rating must be 4.8, and you must pass a test in Yandex Pro to be approved for this tariff.

The year of manufacture is generally higher than for Economy — approximately from 2016 for popular models, while premium brands may be accepted from 2013–2015. The exact year depends on the model.

Comfort+ — The Premium Service Standard

Comfort+ needs a 4.8 driver rating, a Yandex Pro test and a video interview, and usually a car from 2018 or newer. The car must carry leather or faux leather seat covers, Lightning and Type-C cables, water, wipes and climate control at 20-22°C.

Comfort+ is the highest standard tariff below Business. The minimum rating must be 4.8. To be approved for this tariff, you must pass a test in Yandex Pro and complete a video interview with a company representative. You have two attempts — at least one day must pass between attempts.

Vehicle requirements are significantly stricter. The year of manufacture typically starts from 2018 for popular models, and from 2020 for some. On the Comfort+ tariff, you offer the passenger a full premium experience.

Business Tariff Equipment

Business Tariff Dress Code

Photo Control — How Your Car Is Inspected

Yandex Go checks cars by photo control at registration, after data changes and about every 10 days. You photograph the exterior, interior, trunk and license plate in good light. A failed check blocks orders until a retake passes, usually within 5-15 minutes.

Yandex Go has two types of photo control: one-time (during registration and when data is changed) and periodic (approximately once every 10 days). Photo control is the primary method for checking vehicle condition.

During photo control, you need to photograph: the vehicle exterior from several angles, the interior (seats, cabin, trunk) and the license plate from a clearly readable angle. Document photo control is also conducted — ID, driver's license and vehicle registration certificate.

• Photos must be taken in daylight or in a well-lit area
• Blurry, dark, overexposed, low-quality or edited photos will be rejected
• If photo control is not passed, access to orders will be temporarily blocked
• After successful re-photography, access is typically restored within 5–15 minutes

Branding and Priority — A Path to Extra Income

Yandex Go stickers or a full wrap give a car extra priority points in order distribution, so orders arrive faster. A high rating, gold or platinum privileges and a long service period also raise priority, while skips and cancellations lower it.

Vehicle branding (Yandex Go stickers or full wrap) will help you earn more. Branded vehicles receive additional priority points when orders are distributed, meaning less waiting and more orders.

The priority system works like this: the higher a driver's overall priority, the less waiting time and the faster new orders arrive. When several drivers are near a passenger, the system assigns the order to the driver with the higher priority.

• Branding — increases priority, and orders come faster
• High rating — another factor that boosts priority
• Privileges program — gold or platinum level raises priority
• Consistent work — a long service period has a positive effect
• Order rejection or cancellation — reduces priority (cancellation more than rejection)
